And have them make me a sanctuary, so that I may dwell among them.
—Exodus 25:8
On November 22, Ganther Construction officially began demolition of the Lourdes Academy parking lot to prepare for the expansion of its existing Middle/High School building. Once completed, the project will unite all 4K-12 students on one campus.
Two new sections will be constructed on the north side of the building in the current parking area. A new high school wing featuring 11 classrooms, administrative space and a faculty lounge will be constructed on the east end, while a new elementary addition, featuring a cafeteria, worship space, administrative offices and playground, will go up on the west end.
The new additions are part of a $10 million expansion and renovation project for Lourdes Academy and the Oshkosh parishes through the support of the one by One campaign.
Reaching our goal a reality…Surpassing it our hope.
Behind the buildings and improvements lives the heart of the one by One campaign, a beautiful synergy between Catholic schools, parishes and the Diocese of Green Bay with the shared commitment to the renewal of our faith and our future. As part of this commitment, we solidify plans to address the physical structures of our buildings and begin the work ahead.
With humble gratitude we celebrate our donors who have helped us reach our goal. With faith in our future, we encourage others to share in this joy and help us surpass our goal. With thanksgiving for God’s blessings, we ask for His continued guidance on our efforts to promote our faith for generations to come.
