The “I Am” Sayings of Jesus (Lent 2020)

Miss a week of Bible study? Not able to join us on Monday mornings? Keep up with our Lenten Bible study at home by following the links below (updated weekly)!

Our parish theme this Lent will be the “I AM” sayings of Jesus in John’s Gospel: “I am the Bread of Life … I am the Good Shepherd … I am the Resurrection and the Life …” and others. Through preaching, music, and prayer, we will all have the opportunity to reflect on what these sayings reveal about Jesus and his love for us.

Our Lenten Bible study will focus on these sayings of Jesus. Based on Rob Fuquay’s book The God We Can Know, this study will explore Jesus’ “I Am” sayings— their roots in the Old Testament and the way they can inspire us today.

We invite you to join us for the study! If you aren’t up for reading the book, that’s okay … just come each week and participate in the discussion. Or, if you can’t make it, get the book and read it at home. The discussion each week will be recorded and available online if you want to stay connected with the group.
