Each year during the Easter season we celebrate the resurrection of the crucified Jesus. From the earliest Christians to us today, the resurrection has always been the center of the extravagant hope that God wants us to have—hope for new life, hope for healing, hope for justice, hope for transformation.
What does the Bible say about hope? What can we expect? What does it assure us about what our future holds? And how can the hope that the risen Jesus gives transform our lives and our world today?
This 6-week study will explore the theme of hope in the scriptures, both the Old Testament roots of spiritual hope and the New Testament focus on hope through the risen Jesus.
All are welcome. Feel free to join us even if you’ve never been in a Bible study, or can’t make every meeting!
